Hi, I'm Darby! I'm a wife and mom of 3 located in the beautiful state of South Carolina. I founded Darby's Dresses in 2015, as a young mom to a newborn who needed a way to bring in extra income!

I've always had an eye for fashion, good thrift finds, and putting together fun and creative outfits, so becoming a reseller was a no-brainer in that sense. Since 2015 I have grown the business to offer both thrifted and boutique clothing, sold well over 100,000 pieces of clothing, and created a customer base of over 10,000 women, many of whom I know and consider a friend!

I love to provide that personal touch when it comes to shopping, so if you are with me for any length of time it's likely I will learn and remember details about your own preferences when it comes to brands, fabrics, measurements, and more.

My "why" for this business is believing every woman deserves to feel confident, beautiful, and COMFORTABLE in what she's wearing, regardless of her body type, budget, or access to in person shopping. In a world of influencer marketing, Amazon, Shein, and sketchy website that all have eerily similar sounding names, I want to be a trusted and steady source of quality+affordable clothing for any woman that wants to join in the fun! (And it's ok if you still want to shop with Amazon too, I won't judge ;))

On a personal level my primary hobby is reading, I have read over 100 books in 2023 and so far in 2024. I also enjoy music/singing, cooking, and reality TV. I'm an extrovert and love to connect with my friends and customers! I am a Christian and operate by Christian beliefs and practices while operating my business, but you do not need to be one to shop with me! I love the variety and diversity within my customer base, united by the same love for fashion and a good deal.
